Now you see me... now you don't!

it feels great to take something as omni-present as a connection to the internet for granted once again... now i am aware that nothing in this consumer-centric world is to be taken for granted... but i'm being blantantly idiotic and doing this anyway. After two and a half years of juggling between permanent access to the net at home and extremely well planned visits to the cyer cafe for fear of wasting to much money for the sake of proper correspondance, i, Roshni can once again enjoy the perks of surfing the digital realm that contains soooooo much .
Mumbai is being moody, as usual, and can't make up her mind as to whether give into the natural weather order { except for those unfortunate sub equatorial places of course}. The first sign of a true and lasting November breeze has set in and i hope there's no looking back now. The humidity haunts everyperson residing in this crazy yet magical city and i tell you, it must go!!! how else is one supposed to suspect that snow exists in other parts of the world and that santa wears a big red suit and has a long, sweeping beard??? If left upto to Mumbai City, christmas would be and equivalent to mardi gras where the less clad one is, the more your chances of enjoying yourself. Oh and santa will be wearing beads and surf shorts!!!
November!! Ah! there;s nothing much that this month has to offer except that it bears the honour of preceeding the most exciting month of the year and that Guy Fowles failed once upon a time at ridding the world {the UK at least} of irrational authoritarian control!Christmas baby! In Bangkok this year......again! but i'm not complaining... in fact i'm looking forward to the fact that south east asian countries make a bigger fuss about Christmas than my very own country that houses tonnes of Christians but this article isnt about inefficient tourism practices... its about the calm before the storm , the wait outside the delivery room, the silence before the school bell rings , the national anthem before the movie begins... its about the sh@# i have to go through before i get to let my hair down in Thailand! It's realizing that you spent three minutes of your life reading this article and getting absolutely nothing saving the realization that somebody else is going for a killer holiday while you have to deal with the weather in a country that approves of Christ's coming by slashing prices down to half.Adios amigos y amigas... I'm off to try and hang in there for the next one month... before i breathe in a true and well-desevered vacation!!
